Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy provides homeopathic education. NAH’s curriculum includes both classroom instruction, and a student-led clinic that supports a four-year comprehensive program.

NAH is seeking an individual to monitor the technical support in the classroom. All classroom sessions are held virtually via Zoom, along with an in-person option for students who prefer that.

Principal duties include:

• Working with individual faculty members to establish and validate their device’s settings, audio and video, to effectively connect with virtual platforms used in classes.

• Managing and supervising Zoom meetings including launching and recording Zoom sessions, uploading to Vimeo following the class, waiting room management, muting when needed, managing chat messages, and handling student or instructor tech concerns.

• Troubleshooting technology issues including managing classroom audio levels, and instructor tech issues.

• Technology support for Homeopathy clients, including troubleshooting issues with clients joining Zoom for virtual appointments. The Technology Associate is expected to maintain strict client confidentiality and be sensitive to personal information that may be shared during client appointments.

• Support Google classroom use by handling last-minute uploads of documents to virtual classroom for distribution, if needed.

 

This is a part-time, position. The compensation range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. On-site, in-person, weekend work will be scheduled once per month (1 Friday, Saturday & Sunday per month). Hours are normally scheduled six months in advance. Additionally, approximately 4-6 hours per month will be scheduled with remote working possible.
