Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy provides homeopathic education. NAH’s curriculum includes both classroom instruction, and a student-led clinic that supports a four-year comprehensive program.
NAH is seeking an individual to monitor the technical support in the classroom. All classroom sessions are held virtually via Zoom, along with an in-person option for students who prefer that.
Principal duties include:
• Working with individual faculty members to establish and validate their device’s settings, audio and video, to effectively connect with virtual platforms used in classes.
• Managing and supervising Zoom meetings including launching and recording Zoom sessions, uploading to Vimeo following the class, waiting room management, muting when needed, managing chat messages, and handling student or instructor tech concerns.
• Troubleshooting technology issues including managing classroom audio levels, and instructor tech issues.
• Technology support for Homeopathy clients, including troubleshooting issues with clients joining Zoom for virtual appointments. The Technology Associate is expected to maintain strict client confidentiality and be sensitive to personal information that may be shared during client appointments.
• Support Google classroom use by handling last-minute uploads of documents to virtual classroom for distribution, if needed.
This is a part-time, position. The compensation range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. On-site, in-person, weekend work will be scheduled once per month (1 Friday, Saturday & Sunday per month). Hours are normally scheduled six months in advance. Additionally, approximately 4-6 hours per month will be scheduled with remote working possible.
Our mission is to train students to master the skills, philosophy, and sciences necessary to confidently and expertly practice the art of classical homeopathy; to help students develop the personal qualities that create competent and ethical practitioners; to set standards of excellence that define the role of the professional homeopath; to support homeopathic research and provings, and, to inform health care professionals and the general public about homeopathy’s important role in promoting health and healing.
This leadership coordination position starts at 10 hrs./wk.; could grow to 20 hrs./wk. Pay range starts at $30/hr. Duties include operational and financial oversight, as well as program, marketing and fundraising responsibilities. Many day-to-day duties that this position oversees are carried out by the onsite Office Coordinator (1), core contract faculty (8-12), and committee volunteers (8-12). This job is overseen and facilitated in partnership with the NAH Board of Directors and its chair.
Successful candidates will have several years in management or executive administration, have experience in homeopathic, holistic or other health care fields, and are thoughtful, compassionate, facilitative leaders. Perks include tuition reimbursement for NAH non-core programming, year-end fundraising bonus, and hybrid/remote-work options.
General management and leadership:
Accomplish all aspects of management to supervise and monitor financial, human resource and program performance.
Direct the accomplishment of NAH’s mission through the application of established organizational structure and procedures. Propose new as needed.
Reports to and maintains a strong interface with the NAH Board of Directors and its chair. Coordinate agendas, submit financial and operational reports. Attend board meetings.
Supervise, motivate and coordinate lead staff (1) and volunteers (4-5) each week.
Ensure that staff, contractors and volunteers have the tools and resources to do their jobs.
Financial Management:
Oversee internal and external accounting service ensuring preparation of accurate, timely financial reports, governmental tax reporting, and expense control measures.
Prepare annual budget and present ongoing financials to NAH Board of Directors.
Academy Administration:
Oversee development and implementation of student recruitment and retention strategies.
Oversee curriculum development and faculty implementation in concert with NAH Program & Faculty committee chair.
Oversee ACHENA accreditation, licensures, and bonds processes and adherence.
Communications, Marketing, Fundraising & Development:
Ensure quality communication with key stakeholders and constituents/contributors, faculty, students, volunteers and alumni. Communicate policy and directives of the NAH Board of Directors. Serve as public face of Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy.
Develop and oversee marketing, development and fundraising strategies and plans. Develop a donor database and management process.

Homeopathic remedies, when used by a trained practitioner, are safe and gentle. There are several remedies commonly used in injury, surgical trauma and first aid. They are used in a range of injuries including: bruises and injuries from blunt objects, sprains, strains, fractures, wounds, insect stings, burns, head injuries, among others.
