Application Due Date: April 30, 2017
Prospective students are welcome to apply for admissions at any time preceding the start of a new four-year training class. We will still accept applications after the due date if space is available. Admissions requirements include a completed application, copies of college/certification transcripts, three professional or personal letters of reference sent by the reference writers, payment of the application fee and a half-hour interview with a Faculty member. During this interview the faculty and the applicant mutually explore the prospective student's preparation for entrance to the school and the appropriateness of the program for the prospective student.
Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy accepts motivated and talented students from diverse backgrounds; previous training in a health care field is not mandatory. It is, however, highly recommended (but not required) that prospective students have completed two years of an accredited post-secondary program before entering this Professional Training Program. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis. The school reserves the right to delay admission until references have been checked. The school also has the authority to refuse admission to any applicant whom they feel would not be able to meet the high standards, as set forth by the North American Society of Homeopaths, of competence and practice demanded by the profession of classical homeopathy. Probationary admission may be granted to those applicants who are lacking the desired qualifications but for whom there are exceptional circumstances. Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy abides by all state and federal non-discrimination guidelines in its Admissions process.*
*Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy admits students of any race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation and disability to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, and disability in the administration of its educational or admissions policies.
