Becoming a clinic client

Who might be helped by Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a powerful, individual, holistic healing modality.  People who seek homeopathic care may have physical and/or emotional and mental conditions.  Just for example, we see people with chronic physical conditions such as asthma, allergies, migraines, chronic pain, and digestion issues.  We also see people with chronic mental emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

Homeopathy acts at an energetic level, therefore it has a broad effect; shifting mental, emotional and physical symptoms. Since homeopathy is used to assist people rather than to treat illness, anyone, whatever his or her diagnosis, can benefit from homeopathic care. Homeopathy helps by increasing the individual’s strength and resistance to disease and can be effective in relieving chronic health complaints.

What does it involve to seek homeopathic care?

The homeopathic process is both simple and noninvasive. It begins with an initial consultation (usually between 2-3 hours in length) and continues with follow-up visits (approximately 1 hour) every few months to have your progress monitored.   Homeopathic remedies may or may not be given at each visit. A homeopathic remedy is often delivered on sugar pellets that you place under your tongue to dis-solve.  Receiving homeopathic care does not require any change in current diet or medications.  (Although sometime suggestions may be made concerning diet or other treatments that may interfere with homeopathy).

Essential to effective homeopathic care is the information that you provide to the practitioner. The homeopathic practitioner will want you to describe as fully as possible, in your own way, the conditions that have caused you to seek homeopathic care. Your description should include everything that is truly characteristic of your problems.  In addition to information about your symptoms, the homeopath needs to know a lot about you in general. They need to know how vital and energetic you feel on the whole and how your sense of well-being changes as a result of outside factors. You will be asked about such things as food preferences, fears, and dreams.

The homeopath will also want you to discuss your mental/emotional nature. This includes topics like what activities make you feel most happy and what emotional patterns most limit your ability to express yourself.   The ultimate goal of a homeopathic consultation is for the homeopath to truly understand what is unique about you.

What does it look like to become a clinic client?

Each clinic client is assigned a primary case manager.   This practitioner/student will lead the initial consultation and be available for questions between appointments.

Follow-up appointments are made every one to two months as needed.

With student’s progression through the program as well as with practitioners rotating through clinic, a client may change primary case manager on occasion.   With our goal of optimal healing for each client, treatment is always kept as stable as possible during transitions.
